If somebody pointed to Sr. Davies and I and asked who, or what, are they? “Caballeros” would be an appropriate response. You probably know what a caballo is (if not you might be one, and not the stallion kind). Caballero on the other hand is a less known Spanish word, originally meaning, “knight,” “guy who rides a horse,” or “sir.”
One can imagine that at some point in Latin America’s history, a horse rider was automatically given the sir (Senor) status. In Chile that time is long gone and standards have since been lowered, at least as of 2005 when I Iived there. Every where I went, other caballeros and non-caballeros, i.e. damas (meaning women, or lady of the night depending on the context), insisted that I was a caballero, despite my having had arrived on un bici, or el bus. Ask anyone who knew me in ’05 and they will tell you, “Creo que no.”
I recently moved to the West Coast. The large quantities of water that I found quickly made it apparent that it was time to up my status (by non-Chilean standards) to caballero. Don also works.
Yea that’s a bait chucker- so what?

Jorts Aren’t Long On Style
Ya gotta
I’m Frank and I wear jorts.
After many summers of knocking around in jean shorts, I just discovered they had this disparaging nickname and are hopelessly out of style, assuming they were ever in style. I thought everyone wore jean shorts. But look around. They don’t. I somehow never got the memo.
Apparently denim shorts are not timeless as much as I’m clueless. Lucky I don’t care that much.
People who go out in public in jean shorts or cutoffs run the risk of their hilarious photos showing up on sites like jorts.com or Facebook pages devoted to jorts or some snotty blog.
Jorts are the new mullets. Urban Dictionary online defines jorts as “hideous attire” that are “often worn by the fashion illiterate” or by “people you will not like.”

No Problem, I’ll get you a muzzle loader by noon…
This musket was found in a hollowed out tree on the Yellowstone river, covered in Bear fat that preserved the rifle for a long while. It’s from the 1850’s……I got mine alot easier……at ten in the morning….at sprotsman’s wherehouse…with evan….after tooting…and having bloody’s and eggs benny’s at the old post. Oh well, archaeology is archaeology…and this is a hell of a find.

Let this marinade a minute…
Bunty Aur Babli (Hindi: बंटी और बब्ली, Urdu: بنٹی اور ببلی, translation: Bunty and Babli), released in 2005, is an IndianBollywood film directed by Shaad Ali and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Rani Mukerji. It was the first film to feature both Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan, and featured guest appearances byAishwarya Rai and Tania Zaetta. It was one of the biggest hits of the year.[1]
The plot, although it draws on the idea of two rather lovable crooks (much on the same lines as the 1967 Hollywoodfilm Bonnie and Clyde starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway), does not contain much violence. In fact each of the adventures of Bunty and Babli are thoroughly Indianised, like the fake selling of the Taj Mahal.

Art in Revolution
Came across this video of a Charlie Rose interview with street art legend Shepard Fairey; the man behind streetwear giant Obey propaganda, and the infamous Obama poster that was the ‘voice’ (per se) of our new presidents campaign. Like the man/art or not, Shepard Fairey has been one of the most influential street artist of our time. Its amazing how his one simplistic image captured the attention of not only everyone in the country, but also the entire world as one unified voice for change.
Follow up: we all know you can never go wrong with the man, Charlie Rose.
