140 Visitors and 1511 Page loads for the month of February. Not bad at all! March isn’t going to shabby either, so far: 56 Visitors and 256 Page Loads. An incredible start to a community web page.
I was hoping to address a few issues, it would super helpful if responses, criticisms, questions, etc… could go into the comments.
- We have ads. Go daddy ads. SUPER bunty. Unfortunately, those can not be solved without a 60$ payment to go daddy. This 60 dawwwas will be good for a year….details here (we would just need the economy plan). I was hoping within this community of bunty-folk, we could all pitch in 5-10$ using paypal to get rid of those damn ads (use cone.rc [at] gmail.com if your in a hurry to juice the trippp). What do you think? Do we even care about ads?
- Aesthetics. What does everyone want to see as to visual design? Is there anyone else who want to help with designing the site? I actually awoke to an interesting idea last night, we’ll see how it turns out. Let me know. Look at this crazy wordpress site: http://ma.tt and get inspired.
- Organization. How do we want to organize our posts, pages, pictures? Should we create specific categories or let them be created infinitely? I want to implement a bit of magic that “features posts”. For example, the best 3 posts during a week, month, what have you…would stick at the top, and get more “page time” so to say. Allowing us to post a bunch of bunty riff raff, but still having quality content at the top of the blog and “featured”.

RC- is that unique visitors? if that is, i am surprised. considering you can’t really find the site through any search engine really without spelling it correctly. tripledouble.com is a creative agency and trippledoubble.com is a rapper…
1.) as for the ads, i am willing to put in money to get ride of them… and i know jorge is too.
2.) Aesthetics- up to you rc, you seem to have the most knowledge. but im sure everyone has an idea. it is a bit plain now, could use a spruce up.
3.)I like the ‘featured posts’ - id say if we had enough decent content, to switch it at least weekly. if not every few days to keep it fresh- and have multiple sub categories that our other posts go under. ‘bits, shenanigans, life of frank, ya cant but ya gotta etc.” so we have people moving in between pages etc.
have photography (yours/moss etc.) - art submissions - short stories/poems. too.
maybe a about us section- small profile of each of us if that is possible.
got some more ideas, but obviously not all the technical abilities you have. Willing to do as much as I can though (got the time on my hands)- it all depends on if everyone is wanting to actually make this a legit site, which i think we can eventually do. we can work on some search engine optimization stuffs too, which im starting to learn a bit more.
open to suggestions…..
